TALE OF A LOSER

I took a flight with sky to seize,
High above the cabalistic haze.
Permeated with zest to spare,
For I was a kite with none to care.
Wings fanned out beyond fathom,
With a will to dream for Elysium.

Lost all I had in a gust,
As I crossed esoteric mist.
Did the most dreaded come over ,
Unknown pounced on me like a Cougar.
Everything lost to the crooked mist,
Even the sky for which I had thirst.

Now I fly like a vagabond ,
With nothing to take me beyond.
All I hear is a lonely murmur
Narrating  to world tale of a loser.
